Construction project of transport subsea pipelines by SAIPEM S.p.A

Participation in projects for developing marine oil-and-gas field “V. Filanovsky” in the northern part of Caspian Sea.

Within the project supporting at the field “V. Filanovsky” in the northern part of Caspian Sea the following services have been provided:

• expertise of industrial safety, its approval in Rostekhnadzor;
• construction supporting;
• certification of equipment;
• qualification of personal.

NBE supported Saipem construction project of subsea pipelines transport at the field “V. Filanovsky” in 2012-2013 years, which was the hardest period of the beginning of subsea pipelines construction on Caspian Sea.

Noteworthy for this project supporting was that “National Bureau of Expertise” Ltd. started closely to carry out the engineering and critical analysis in order to accelerate the receiving of all necessary permits for customer.

During this period NBE issued and approved in Rostekhnadzor the following documents:

• report of the industrial safety expertise that is addressing the laying and operation of pipelines transport at the field “V. Filanovsky”;
• report of the industrial safety expertise for technical documentation that is addressing to the methods and parameters of welding, qualification of welding procedures, ECA evaluations and establishing the defects rates during automatic ultrasonic control;
• expert report of the SAIPEM readiness to the performing the construction works of pipelines transport at the field “V. Filanovsky”;
• the program and method of acceptance testing was developed and approved at Rostekhnadzor.
